We bring authentic and delicious Japanese food to
the heart of Manchester. We are an independent
establishment and are passionate about our food,
use the freshest and finest ingredients only and
source them locally where possible to create the
most delicious food in town.
We are featured in the Good Food Guide from
2015 – 2020 and in the Michelin Guide UK from
2015 – 2018 and have had rave reviews from
national newspapers and magazines since we
opened our door in 2010.
Our story begins in Japan and takes us to Great Britain. We started Yuzu because we couldn't find a restaurant that offered proper and authentic Japanese food in Manchester. We can proudly say that we can help you experience Japanese Cuisine the way its meant to be.
We do not currently offer sushi. Sushi should only be made by a properly trained sushi master. Skilled sushi chefs who prepare truly authentic Japanese sushi go through years of rigorous training, often up to 10 years, to become an itamae, or sushi master.
